Palm Desert, CA---West Coast Turf (WCT) announces the promotion of John Marman to regional sales manager for Southern California and Southern Nevada, and George Savinon to operations manager and sales representative for the Las Vegas territory.
Marman has worked at WCT for nearly 10 years, and most recently has been the manager of Southern Nevada operations. In his new position he will be overseeing the Southern California and Southern Nevada regions--responsible for new business development for golf, landscape, and sports turf. In addition, he will be general manger for WCT’s Las Vegas operation.
A native of Palm Desert, CA, Marman is a founding member of the Nevada Landscape Association’s Southern Chapter, and has served as secretary/treasurer of the state board for several consecutive terms. He served as president for the Southern Nevada Chapter for 2 years.
Marman received his bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences from University of California at Riverside. He has relocated to Southern California, and is based out of WCT’s Winchester office.
Savinon started with WCT 3 years ago as a long haul and local delivery truck driver. He was quickly promoted last year to the Las Vegas office manager, and will now take the position of operations manager and sales representative for the Las Vegas territory.
